What's in your Chemical Rich Soap?

At 'Soap Melodies' we believe your day must start with an uplifting, luxurious, aromatic bath which nourishes the skin and your senses with nature derived, therapeutic ingredients.

We strive to stay 'Close to Nature' and therefore, carefully craft our products with edible grade oils of coconut, palm, rice bran, canola, olive, sunflower, sunflower, castor, etc.

We add skin loving butters, natural & herbal ingredients such as shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut milk, honey, activated charcoal, turmeric, coffee, oats & many more during the crafting process to create luxurious bars.

NATURAL COLORANTS

To color the soaps we use natural colorants such as Red Sandalwood extract, Indigo, Himalayan Rhubarb, Turmeric, Annatto Seeds, Neem and other flower/fruit/herbal powders. We also use clays such as French Red Clay, Kaolin Clay, Bentonite Clay. All these ingredients are nature derived & also have therapeutic properties.

FRAGRANCES

Our soaps are aroma rich due to the 'Essential Oils' we use to scent them. 'Essential Oils' are derived from nature & are scientifically proven to be therapeutic. Our 'Essential Oils' are sourced from reputed vendors. We make our own blends and test them before we use them in our products.

At 'Soap Melodies' we use very limited amount of safe synthetic colors (nature derived Micas, Oxides, Mineral pigments) & fragrance oils when we cannot find a nature equivalent ingredient. For example, some fragrances such as Strawberry, Mango, Chocolate are not found in nature & bright colors in soaps cannot be achieved with natural colorants. In this case we use pigment colors & fragrance oils. These soaps are 90-95% Natural.

We also have a 100% Natural range of soaps & specialty bars that are made with ZERO synthetic ingredients.

All our products are COMPLETELY FREE of harsh chemical detergents, SLS, Parabens and preservatives.

What's in our Nature Rich Soap?

Your soap or body wash is made of a synthetic chemical cocktail of at least 30 ingredients- Harsh detergents, harmful dyes, perfumes and chemical preservatives!

A Natural Soap is made of 3 ingredients - Oils, Lye & Water.

Check the ingredient list of any commercial bath soap (even baby soap) from the market and you'll find as many as 40 ingredients, majority of them are harsh chemicals & some of these are very harmful to your skin, health and the planet!

Companies market their soaps as 'Natural', containing 'Saffron', 'Sandalwood' or 'Milk Protein' but these make up only a negligible percentage of the soap. Majority of the ingredients are surfactants, dyes, chemical perfumes and can cause drying, itching, allergies & contact dermatitis.
